Golden State at Portland

The reputation of Golden State  is that they are all offense, but this team just traded its star offensive player, Monte Ellis, and is adjusting. They've scored 92, 93 and 83 points in three of the last five games (all losses). And speaking of losing players, the Portland  Trailblazers have had a rough season, losing Brandon Roy to retirement and last week cutting Greg Oden and trading Marcus Camby. This offense has scored 95, 87, 97 and 96 points the last four games. They shot just .439% the last game, a loss against the Lakers while scoring 19 first quarter points.   When these teams met last month it went way under the total as Portland shot 40% in a 93-91 win. Look for a slower start offensively than oddsmakers expect; Play Golden State/Portland FIRST HALF UNDER the total.
