Watching this Golden State team late last season and in the playoffs, they looked like a team that was close to challenging for an NBA Championship. This season, they got off to a surprisingly slow start at 14-13, with injuries part of the reason. They are healthy and playing a lot more like the team we saw last season, and have won 11 of their last 14 games. New Orleans is obviously not the same team without Chris Paul, and they have struggled badly of late, resulting in seven straight losses. The Pelicans are 15-23 overall, but when you look at the straight-up resume against teams that are currently over .500, it is a very ugly 2-18 - and that says it all. Play Golden State on the moneyline.
