Golden State at Brooklyn

It looked like perhaps Golden State had finally turned the corner as they opened the season 7-3, and started getting some attention. The most convincing evidence of that was a road win at Dallas, but looking back Dallas started 0-4 before they decided to play basketball. It has not been a good road for the warriors since. They have struggled to a 5-10 mark since then, and have yet to see the win column on the road again this year dropping their last 8. It now looks like the Golden State team we come to expect, making a few surprises at home, but futile on the road as they are now just 6-29 in their last 35 road games. This year the 8 losses have been by an average of 14.9 ppg, and it is likely they will again be without Jason Richardson, and Troy Murphy who at this time are listed as doubtful. The Nets have not been playing well either, but the one thing they have been able to do is beat teams with a losing record as they are 5-0 ATs in their last 5. The history is not on Golden St.'s side either as they have dropped 8 straight at New Jersey, and tonight will make it 9.
