Golden State at Los Angeles

Despite all the continued hoopla surrounding Donald Sterling's alleged comments, there's a game to played here in LA tonight. Golden State earned a blowout win in game four to even the series at 2-2. The series now moves back to LA, and the Clippers know they have to refocus their defensive energy, and come out aggressively on that end of the court. The first and last game played in this series, the defensive attack was missing. But in games two and three they held Golden State to less than 100 points. That is the defense that needs to show up tonight for a pivotal game five in LA. Those middle two games saw Golden State smothered in the first half, as they were able to put up just 41 and 43 first half points in the two games. The Clippers have been the only team to hold Golden State to under 52 points in the first half, since their last seven games of the season where they averaged 59 first half points per game. LA has kept them to well under that twice, and I expect another strong first half defensive effort tonight. The Warriors are just 23-35 ATS dating back to last year after a home win. And, the Clippers are 14-3 ATS this season when revenging an upset loss. Take the Clippers and the first half UNDER in this one.
