These teams have played to some of the highest NBA totals seen over the last five years or so, but they have both changed from the run, gun, and fun offenses they used to take the court with. They can still score, but the games have become more conventional for both, while those memories have served to just keep bumping the total upward. There have been some other significant changes as well. Denver has already lost more home games than any point over the last four seasons in this strike shortened season, while Golden State has 10 road wins and will exceed their best over the last four seasons as well. Denver failed to reach 100 points at Golden State in their last game - certainly a big difference from what we used to see, and Denver is playing sub-.500 basketball over their last 17 games. Golden St. has already won at Atlanta, Phoenix, LA Clippers, and won already in Denver. They have played to the UNDER to a 37-28-2 mark in their last 56 as a dog of +5 to +10.5, as well as 10-1 to the UNDER on the road vs. a team with a winning home mark. The Nuggets are 5-0 to the UNDER last five as chalk. Play Golden St. on the moneyline, and the UNDER in this one.
