Detroit at Washington

Washington has been close to unbeatable at home sporting a 17-4 mark while Detroit really has been the single road warrior in the East as they are the only Eastern Conference team above .500 at 13-8. Detroit is no longer a team that goes out every night and puts forth the "A" game. They pick their spots. They have lost at home to Milwukee , New Orleans, Portland and Charlotte. They have lost on the road to Atlanta, New York, Charlotte ,Sacramento and Golden State. That is just coasting to drop nine games to some teams that don't belong on the court with them. But they show up for the big games. Their four toughest road games were at Dallas, Washington, LA Lakers and Utah. They won three and covered the fourth losing to Utah by 2 points. They own a win in Washington already and they will come back and get another tonight. The last four times these teams have met in Washington, they have eclipsed the total. Washington is 14-6 OVER at home this season. We look for a high scoring affair with Detroit coming out on top.
