Detroit at Toronto

Larry Brown is back and so are the Pistons. Lay the points with Detroit who take on what has been a very dysfunctional Raptors team of late. The Pistons post a convincing win at the ACC this afternoon. The Pistons hold a 3-1 season series edge over Toronto, however the one loss did come in this building. With that in mind, and combined with the fact that Detroit appears ready to roll again, I am expecting a sound effort from the defending champs. Toronto is solid at home, yes, however of late they have not been very dependable for backers. The Raptors locker room best resembles an episode with of the Jerry Springer show, and it’s hard to pull together as a team on the floor when there’s this amount of tension behind the scenes. Toronto will need every ounce of ‘team’ they can get tonight, and if things could get ugly for them should they be content to settle for the jump shot as they do most nights. That’s exactly the lackluster effort that I'm expecting from Toronto in this contest. The Pistons have rebounded from their recent 1-4 slide to win and cover two straight games. They will get the job done again north of the border on Sunday. Two stars on the Pistons.
