The Detroit Pistons opened the season with a lot of promise after making the playoffs last year as the eighth seed. They have some work to do to get back to the same place as they are 34-38 on the season, and 1.5 games out of the eighth and final playoff piece in the East. The Magic franchise is a train wreck right now as this will be their fifth straight year posing a losing record and missing the playoffs. They are losing the battle after 35 wins last year as they will slip below that this season. At 3-7 in their last 10 games, there is no rebound in sight.
