Detroit at Brooklyn

Detroit has won seven of eight and five in a row including a very impressive road win at Boston. Time to fade them! They won't be up for this game relative to some of their recent games. They handled New Jersey easily in their last meeting, winning at home 118-95. The fact remains that Detroit is just 9-5 on the road this season vs. 11-2 at home. The Pistons don't bring their A game every game. When they really want to win, they can beat anyone (see Boston win). But, if they aren't into the game, they can lose. New Jersey is averaging 100 ppg over their last five games and they have won two straight, both upset wins. Road teams that have won 6+ straight ATS are just 49-107 (31%) straight-up in their next game! The Nets are 22-10 at home vs. teams shooting 46%+ from the field the past three seasons. They are also 17-7 over that span revenging a double-digit road loss. We'll take the Nets to get the home win here.
