Detroit at Milwaukee

Premium Pick

Milwaukee put forth just enough effort for us in game two to get the cover. It was expected that they would be able to cover against a Detroit team on a letdown after the game one blowout. Well, the game two result was a near-perfect setup for this game. Not only did we get that win, but Detroit won by double-digits. In their mind it was an unconditional win. They have now won the first two games by an average of 15 points. Returning home, in yet another game 3 must-win, the Bucks will lay it all out on the floor tonight in front of their home crowd. We'll take comfort in the fact that Detroit remains overvalued having covered just one of their last six games and having gone 5-14 ATS on the road in the second half of the season. Top-level teams (75%+ SU) as favorites coming off two consecutive wins by 10+ points are just 5-25 vs. division rivals over the past ten years. This game qualifies for a number of my postseason systems. One involves fading teams that shot uncharacteristically good last game (Detroit hit 51% FG). Other systems abound as well as we have a very good bounce-back situation for the Bucks. Milwaukee plus the points.
