Lost in the abyss of a dreadful 4-20 start to their season, the Detroit Pistons have certainly been a much more competitive team than their overall record of 24-40 might suggest. The Pistons have been a respectful .500 team since at 20-20, but are an easy team to overlook here. These teams haven't met since New Year's Eve and the Pistons won that one by 8 points, giving them hope and confidence coming into this game. The trap is set by the fact that the Pacers have just one game left before the playoffs after this one, and they have already clinched their playoff seed (#3). If they have any motivation the rest of the regular season, it's the a chance to make a statement vs. the Bulls on Wednesday. There's not really much to play for here for Indiana. Play Detroit on the moneyline.
