The Nuggets have simply been a different, but better team since Chauncey Billups came over from Detroit and learned the personnel and offense. The Nuggets own a 26-9 mark with Billups running the offense. Detroit was struggling before putting together a seven-game winning streak. But six of those seven games were against teams with a losing record on the season. In their last game, they stepped out on the road against a good Portland team and saw that streak abruptly end. The Pistons have only claimed two wins the entire season on the road against teams with winning records. They are also 0-5 ATS after a straight-up loss in their last five in that situation. Off of one day’s rest, the Nuggets are 7-1 ATS in their last eight. Add that to when the offense is putting up 100+ in their previous game, they are 7-2 ATS the next time on the floor. The Nuggets get the money here.
