Detroit at Dallas

Detroit has finally started to play good basketball again. They were struggling on the defensive end of the court early in the season, primarily because they were not playing transition defense whatsoever. They seem to have found themselves in the midst of this five game road trip and are playing good hoops again. The Mavs, meanwhile end a three game homestand with this game. Dallas is just 26-49 ATS after having won 3 of their last 4 games over the last 3 seasons. Assuming Chauncey Billups is able to control the tempo of this game, and he should against the Dallas backcourt, the defensive stats point to a two point differential. I like the Pistons in this spot for three stars.
