Detroit at Boston

There are much higher expectations in Detroit than there have been in quite awhile. After making the playoffs last season, but opening at 9-10 this season, those expectations have not been realized. Losing PG Reggie Jackson to a knee injury before the season started has set this team back. Boston is a deep team, and for once healthy. They have played without forwards at times, and without Al Horford. They should have the full compliment of players for this one, and a healthier roster. After suffering four straight losses, Detroit has regrouped and is playing better than they have all season, winning and covering three of their last four. The Pistons went 14 straight games without scoring more than 106 points in a game, but in their last four have topped that mark three times, and have the offense going, and are able to compete on the road vs. Boston.
