Detroit at Boston

The Boston Celtics continue to play at a high level and enter their game vs. Detroit at the Garden at 18-3 on the season, including 18-1 in their last 19 games. It has been all about the defense for Boston as no team in their last 19 games has topped the 107 point mark, and 14 of them have not reached the century mark. Additionally, no team has shot 50% or better against them in the 19-game stretch. The Pistons are coming of age at 12-6 on the season and will likely look at this game as a measuring stick of where they are. A spirited effort is quite likely. The Pistons have played five straight games to the UNDER. The Pistons are completely healthy, and I think this game is going to be won or lost on the defensive end. The Pistons have been grinding out games of late, so I think this plays well for them, against a team that likes to pace the game. Boston is among the worst shooting teams in the league at just 43.7% on the season, but defend better than anyone. I don't think either team is going to pull away in this one, and defense should be the calling card. Points look big here, make the play on Detroit and the UNDER.
