Detroit at Boston

The Boston Celtics are off a West Coast road trip where they played four elite teams and came away with three wins and an overtime loss. They will begin a two game homestand vs. Detroit tonight. The Pistons made NBA history last time on the court by losing an NBA record 27th straight game. This will already be the 11th time Boston has been a favorite of nine or more points this season. The Celtics are 23-6 on the season, and I don't see them making a full effort here. That has been the case lately as they are just 1-4 ATS in their last five games as a favorite of -9 or more points. The Pistons have not lost by more than 11 points in any of their last four games and will do enough here to stay within the lofty number, while Boston puts forth a lackluster effort.
