Danny Ainge took over running the Utah franchise and he is overhauling the Jazz, who have failed to perform well in the postseason. They now have a new coach in Will Hardy, former assistant with the Celtics, to replace Quin Snyder after Snyder tendered his resignation this summer following an eight-year run. Donovan Mitchell was traded to Cleveland and Bojan Bogdanovic to Detroit as Ainge looks for a major shakeup although there still is plenty of talent on the Jazz, who have beaten Denver five times in a row and covered the spread in four of them. The Nuggets haven't defeated Utah since Jan. 31, 2021 and they are 5-13 ATS the past 18 meetings at Utah. Denver ended last season by losing seven of its last 10 games, including being ousted in five games in the playoffs by Golden State.
