Despite the uncertainty surrounding Melo, Denver has been on a roll, but they run into a buzz saw here. The Spurs own the best record in the NBA and go for their fifteenth straight home victory here. The problem for Denver is that their big games come at home. They scored 132, 130 and 127 in their last three, but those were at the Pepsi Center. On the road this season, the Nuggets are just 5-12 straight-up and 7-10 ATS. They lose about 7 points per game on offense, and allow about 6 points per game more on defense when away from home. The Spurs are 21-2 in this building for a reason. They are crushing all comers by an average score of 106 to 95. The Nuggets are playing back-to-back games here and that's not a good sign for their backers as they are just 45-70 ATS under George Karl playing without rest including 9-19 ATS the past two seasons. They are also 13-24 ATS over that same span when coming off a double-digit win. The Spurs minus the points is the play here.
