San Antonio continues to utilize its depth by running at opponents, no. 7 in the NBA in points scored and assists. They are on a 17-8 run OVER the total going back to last season, and two of their last three have gone OVER and they are 12-5 OVER the total in their last 17 home games. San Antonio comes off a state rivalry game with Dallas, a defensive battle, but I see them getting back to a track meet with Denver in this one. Denver is all about offense, second in the NBA in points scored behind Al Harrington, Andre Miller and dynamic young point guard Ty Lawson. Denver plays defense at home, but not on the road at 2-1 OVER the total away from home this season. The OVER is 7-1-1 in the Nuggets’ last nine vs. the NBA Southwest, while the OVER is 16-7 in the Spurs’ last 23 against the Western Conference. Look for an offensive show in this one, so play the OVER.
