Denver at Orlando

The Orlando Magic are going to be considered to be on the decline as Dwight Howard is now wearing a Lakers uniform. What many forget is that the magic went 3-1 at the end of last season at home during the regular season without the services of Howard. There were a lot of departures here, but they still have Glenn Davis who will play a much bigger role. Davis averaged 17 points per game in the preseason, Hedo Turkoglu, and Jameer Nelson will also provide ample scoring. The Nuggets scored an eight-year low with just 38 first half points in their opener, and the offense looked horrible. Last year the Nuggets were the league’s highest-scoring team, but finished their 2012-13 debut with just 75 in Philly.
