The New Orleans Hornets have had their moments this season, but there is no disguising they are a bad team. This team has seen the home crowd turn on them enough. They play looser on the road where they have won eight times, while at home they are a dreadful 5-21. They have done a good job taking big numbers from the books, but when favored, or a dog of less than five, they are 6-13 ATS and, right now they are just 1-5 in their last six games. Denver is a plus team on the season playing well right now winning three of their last four games. One of the marks on New Orleans is their inability to score. The Hornets have not scored more than 103 points the entire season, without the benefit of overtime. That makes totals that get into this range a difficult task to topple and this is the highest total they have played to all season, so it is a bit inflated. New Orleans is 4-11 ATS in their last 15 at home and off a road trip of seven days or more, are just 1-5 ATS. The Nuggets are coming up big on the road at 37-15 ATS in their last 52, having also played UNDER to a 6-1 mark in their last seven vs. a losing team. The Hornets are 44-20-1 at home to the UNDER vs. a winning road team and eight of the last nine here vs. the Nuggets have gone UNDER the total. Take Denver and UNDER in this one.
