Denver at Minnesota

Minnesota will come home for game 3 of their opening playoff round. The Timberwolves have a lot of work to do. They are down in the series 2-0, and this is a must-win situation. Minnesota has not adjusted well when it comes to playoff defense. The Timberwolves have been outscored in the 2 games by a combined 28 points and never in either game. Denver made it 5 wins in their last 6 at home, and now they take to the road. Minnesota was barely over .500 at home on the season, and down the stretch when they needed to win they went 3-7. I think this will be a good experience for the Timberwolves for next year, but I don't see them up for the challenge here. Take the Nuggets spread tonight.
