Denver is off a bust-out win on offense, and faces a Lakers team that has injuries and a losing record at home. Denver had its best shooting night in a month Friday, hitting 53.8 percent from the field in a 111-108 home win over Memphis. Starting point guard Ty Lawson had 18 points and 12 assists in the win, and he's averaged 19.8 points and 9.8 assists during the team's win streak against the Lakers. Los Angeles can get chewed up by young, quick guards, and that's a huge matchup edge for Denver here. In addition, the Lakers have far too many injuries. The Lakers again lost Jordan Farmar for at least four weeks with a torn left hamstring the last game. Farmar had started the last four games after missing 10 with another tear in the same hamstring. The injury report also includes Kobe Bryant (knee), Steve Nash (back), Steve Blake (elbow), and Xavier Henry (knee). They'll all be out against Denver, while forward Wesley Johnson is questionable with an illness. The Lakers are 2-7 ATS playing on one days rest, 1-4 ATS after a victory. The Nuggets are 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings, so grab the healthier visitors. Play the Denver Nuggets.
