Denver started off the new year on an 11-2 run but dropped four straight before getting a win against Portland on Saturday to turn things around. But, there is still major cause for concern with the Nuggs. They won that Portland game by just 1 point as a 10.5 point favorite. And, they let the Trailblazers score 104 points. They have, in fact, averaged 104.4 points given up over this bad run and Golden State, averaging 101 points per game over the same span, has the weapons to take advantage at home. Denver won in a shootout on December 26th 118-112 but the Warriors own a 15-4 mark against the Nuggets here in Golden State. Two stars on the Warriors against the struggling Nuggets.
