Dallas at Memphis

The Dallas Mavericks lost some key ingredients to their offense off their Championship campaign a year ago and are pacing Kurt Nowitski who isn't as productive as a year ago. The Mavs have subsequently have not scored as freely as a year ago and the compensating element has been the defense. After a three game hiatus to open the season the Mavs have allowed 100 points or more just three times without the benefit of overtime and as reigning Champs are facing the best defensive efforts by opponents. Memphis has had to compensate for the 20ppg lost with the Randolph injury and have had to rely on the defense vs. winning teams where they are 11-5 to the UNDER in their last 16.
