Dallas at Detroit

Detroit has been outstanding at home this season, posting a 26-8 mark. They need to continue to win games down the stretch in order to solidify their position in the Eastern Conference standings. A matchup with Dallas is the type of game that the Pistons get up for. They tend to play up or down to their competition when playing at home (they are 14-4 ATS at home when playing against a good team with a win Pct. of 60% to 70% over the last 3 seasons). The key to their success remains their strong defense, especially at home where they allow just over 86 ppg. Dallas has been a tough team to get a read on this season. They come into this one having won five of their last six games, however this is the first of a four game eastern road trip. I see the Mavs stumbling in these non conference road games. This should be a back and forth contest, however look for the Pistons to pull away late and cover the small number. Take Detroit for three stars.
