Dallas at Boston

The Dallas Mavericks will look to run their current win-streak to three Wednesday night when they visit the Boston Celtics. The Celtics will be looking to snap a three-game losing streak of their own. both teams played at Detroit in their last games. Dallas scored a 95-88 win Monday Night as a 2.5-point underdog. Boston lost Saturday night 100-99 taking six points. Prior to their loss in Detroit the Celtics lost in New York last Wednesday 107-82 in a Pick Em spot then fell Friday night at home to Chicago 94-86 as a 6.5-point favorite. The Celtics are 25-11 at home although just 15-21 ATS. They have won six-of-eight at home with Walker in the lineup but covered just twice. They also lost the lone meeting with the Mavs this year 113-94. That was in Dallas in December. The Mavs have been one of the best road team's in the league this season. They are 23-11 away from home and 21-13 ATS. They are 3-2 S/U and ATS in their five most recent road games and 8-2 straight-up and 5-5 ATS over their last 10 games overall. Boston is scoring 101 and allowing 100 points per game this season while Dallas is putting up over 100 on the road and 105 in their last five games. This season when Dallas is involved a game in which both teams score 98+ points, the game has gone OVER the posted total 24 out of 27 times. Since the all-star break, the Mavs have gone 7-1 OVER in road games vs. poor defensive teams. In what should be a higher-than-expected scoring affair, we'll side with Dallas and the OVER, each for two stars.
