Dallas endured a slow start last season, as they were without the services of Dirk Nowitzki. That has changed with his 20.8points per game to start this season as the Mavericks are off to a robust 10-6 start. The Hawks have had great difficulty in the early going by trying to replace the 17.5 ppg that were produced by the now departed Josh Smith. They have also missed the production of Louis Williams who has only played in four games, contributing 7.5 ppg after producing 14.5 ppg last season. That has left Atlanta a pedestrian 8-8 team through their first 16 games. The Mavs have been huge off an ATS loss, where they have fired back to follow with a 27-8 ATS mark in their last 35. The Mavs have cashed five of the last seven in this series, and are in a better spot than the struggling Hawks right now. Play on Dallas.
