As usual, San Antonio was out of the gate early posting a 17-3 mark. They have since been a very ordinary 8-8, but a woeful 5-11 ATS. The defense is fine, but the offense which topped the century mark 11 times in the first 20 games, has only done so four times in the last 16. Cleveland will come in here, not only at the right time, but also with a chip on their shoulder as they were taken down 4-0 in the NBA Finals by the Spurs. The Cavs saw themselves at 12-16 not long ago, but have found it again going 8-2 over their last 10 and playing their best basketball of the season. The Cavs are playing some defense as well, as they have held opponents to 86.8 points per game in their last eight non-OT games. This is going to keep this game close, especially with the way the Spurs’ offense has been playing poorly.
