Cleveland got back on track with a 101-97 win at Phoenix last night after two terrible shooting performances in losses at Golden State and Portland. Kyrie Irving scored 22 points and J.R. Smith added 17 points as the Cavaliers shot 46.5 percent, which was a major improvement from the previous two games. LeBron James chipped in 16 points and seven assists and the Cavs made 17-of-41 from beyond the arc. Denver has lost five of its last six games and is playing its first home game after a three-game road trip which ended in a 122-112 loss at Oklahoma City on Sunday. Kenneth Faried scored 25 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, but the Thunder shot 57.8 percent from the field. The Nuggets defense has been a problem all season as it allows opponents a .464 field goal percentage. Cleveland has covered the number its last four games in Denver and the Cavaliers are 5-2 ATS the last seven meetings overall. Denver has numerous injuries and the Nuggets are 2-7 ATS their last nine home games. Lay the points on the Cavaliers.
