Cleveland at Charlotte

Cleveland had its three-game win streak broken when Miami outscored the Cavaliers 37-26 in the fourth quarter on Friday night, but it was understandable as they had beaten the Heat in the first of two meetings at Miami two nights before. The Cavaliers will depend on their inside presence against Charlotte, which will be at a disadvantage in the paint and that was one of the reasons the Hornets lost 119-111 to Utah last night for their fourth loss in six games. The Jazz outrebounded Charlotte 60-43 and that kind of performance will play right into the hands of the Cavaliers, who are 9-3-1 ATS their past 13 games following a loss and 7-2-2 ATS versus teams with below .400 winning percentages. Cleveland has covered eight of the past 10 meetings at Charlotte and the Hornets are 0-6 ATS against teams with above .600 winning percentages and they will be playing a back-to-back and that is more bad news for Charlotte as it is 6-20-1 ATS when its starting five players combined for at least 160 minutes the previous day. Lay the points with the Cavaliers as my NBA Game of the Year.
