You need to be able to score against Oklahoma City and Chicago can't, 28th in points scored as they've struggled all year to adapt without Derek Rose. They really haven't, without any good scoring options, so they are content to slow the pace down and focus on defense, which coach Tom Thibedeau preaches. Chicago is third in the NBA in points allowed, sixth in rebounds and second in field goal shooting defense allowing .432%. As we saw in that loss to Miami last week (86-67) Chicago loves to slow it down against good teams and note that the UNDER is 15-6 in the Bulls last 21 games vs. a team with a winning percentage above .600. Chicago comes off a win and the Bulls are 9-21 ATS in their last 30 games following a win and 7-18 ATS in their last 25 vs. the Western Conference. They match up badly with an Oklahoma City team that is tops in the NBA in scoring plus plays great defense, third in the NBA and tops in the West in field goal shooting defense allowing .433%. The Thunder is 8-1 ATS in their last nine home games. The UNDER is 12-5 in the Thunder's last 17 against the NBA Central and when these teams meet the UNDER is 6-1 the last seven meetings. Play the Oklahoma City Thunder + Play the Bulls/Thunder UNDER the total.
