Detroit won both home contests while splitting four meetings last year. Chicago is playing its third game in four nights after beating Cleveland and Brooklyn. The Bulls are trying a new up-tempo offense under new coach Fred Hoiberg and early signs are good as they shot 53.8 percent and 14-for-28 from the three-point line against the Nets. Six Bulls scored in double figures in the effort. Chicago is just 1-4 the last five meetings and the underdog is 9-2 the last 11 times these teams have met. Look for Detroit to stay hot while cooling off the Bulls. Take the points on the Pistons.
