Charlotte at Los Angeles

The very disappointing season for Los Angeles is almost over as the Lakers crawl to the finish line with a 33-42 straight-up record and 30-43-2 ATS. The Lakers are 46-28-1 UNDER and the offense never got untracked and three of the last four meetings with Charlotte have gone UNDER. Also, the Lakers have stayed UNDER in their last five games and have lost six of their last eight, including Wednesday's 115-100 defeat at Utah. LeBron James did not play in that one (groin) and he is probable for tonight's game. Charlotte has won four in a row as it battles for a playoff spot and it comes off an impressive 125-116 overtime win over San Antonio on Tuesday. The Hornets are 10-2-1 ATS their last 13 games at Los Angeles and the Lakers are 7-25-1 ATS their last 33 games versus Eastern Conference teams and 3-9 ATS their last 12 with one day of rest.
