Charlotte at Washington

Charlotte has the best defense in the NBA, allowing just 93.6 points per game. Their offense has been weak all season and has been low-scoring of late. They now face the hapless Wizards who haven't won since February. The Wizards' offense has been horrible of late. All of this adds up to a shaded total that is too low, so there are a few reasons to like the OVER here. When two teams coming off road losses meet, with one team having scored 80 or less, the OVER has been great, hitting 67% (84-42) over the last five seasons. After a game in which they allowed 85 or fewer points, the Bobcats are 22-8 OVER the past three seasons. Washington is 28-13 OVER at home after five straight losses. I'm going contrarian here and taking the OVER.
