The New Jersey Nets have a record they don't want, and one they want to dispose of as soon as possible. They have set the mark for NBA futility to start the season at 0-18. They may have their best chance here vs. a Charlotte team that is 1-12 on the road in their last 13. The good news is that they can finally run with someone, and feel they have an edge. While the offense reached 95 points in just one game in their first 15, the Nets are showing offensive life averaging just shy of that mark in their last three. The Bobcats reached 90 just four times in their first 12, but have turned things up having touched 90 in each of their last five, averaging 99.2 points per game in the stretch. This one is set too low with both teams scoring and believing that they can run the other, so this one goes OVER the total.
