Charlotte at Dallas

The Charlotte Bobcats made the NBA playoffs for the first time in franchise history last year, only to get bounced four straight at the hands of the Orlando Magic. They have finally become a playoff contender and legitimized themselves as an NBA franchise. The Dallas Mavericks always seem to be in the thick of things, but fall short and an aging superstar renders their window of opportunity short. Last year the Mavericks were an atrocious 7-25-1 ATS as a favorite of five or more at home, while the Bobcats were 12-6 ATS on the road as a five or more point underdog. Overall Charlotte has been money as a 5-10.5 underdog having gone 35-17-1 ATS in their last 53. I like Charlotte in this one.
