The Brooklyn Nets took control of this series, winning the opener in Toronto. Neither team shot the ball well with a combined 62-151 shooting at 41% and a dreadful 12-47 from beyond the arc at 25.5%. Combine that with 19 Toronto turnovers, and there was a lot of lost points on the offensive end in game one. That has caused a reaction by the oddsmakers to drop the total here by 2 full points, which squarely pushes value on the OVER here in game two. The 151 shots taken by both teams indicates a better than average pace. With the shooting numbers so poor, and the total shy by just 9 points from the posted total here, I think the value is strong. The Raptors are 6-1 to the OVER in their last seven at home, and the Nets are 4-1 to the OVER in their last five quarterfinals playoff tilts. The OVER gets the call in this one.
