Kyrie Irving returned from his suspension and scored 14 points and Ben Simmons had a season-high 22 points as Brooklyn beat Memphis 127-115 on Sunday for its second win in a row. Things look a lot brighter now for the Nets, at least for the time being, and Kevin Durant has scored 25 or more points in every game this season. Philadelphia is a home underdog because Joel Embiid is out with a sprained left foot and Tyrese Maxey (foot) and James Harden (foot) already have been out with similar injuries. The 76ers come off a 112-109 home loss to Minnesota on Saturday and Embiid was the leading scorer with 32 points and Shake Milton added 27.
