Brooklyn at Philadelphia

Brooklyn is on the road in its first postseason game since 2015 while Philadelphia made it as far as the conference semifinal last year. The teams split four meetings this season with the 76ers winning 123-110 the last time they met on March 28. Joel Embiid is questionable with left knee soreness and Jimmy Butler is probable with lower-back tightness, but even with injuries throughout the season, the Sixers finished 51-31 compared to 42-40 for the Nets.  Brooklyn is #25 in the NBA with a .449 field goal percentage and Philadelphia is #10 defensively allowing opponents a .455 shooting percentage. The Nets have gone UNDER eight of their last 11 against Eastern Conference teams and four of their last six overall. Brooklyn is also 45-25 to the first-half UNDER as a road dog the past two seasons. They are also 18-9 UNDER in the first-half when revenging a loss this season and 27-18 UNDER in the first-half vs. teams that allow 110+ points per game. The Sixers will be well rested as they gave their players days off down the stretch. They'll have to deal with D'Angelo Russell, who led the Nets with 21.1 points and seven assists per game. However, the home team in Game 1 of an NBA playoff series is historically a strong play, so go with the 76ers, the first-half UNDER and the full-game UNDER.
