Brooklyn at Minnesota

The Jimmy Butler saga has come to an end and Minnesota now can concentrate on winning games with a new team chemistry, although that will take awhile. The Timberwolves have lost five in a row and covered the spread in only one of them, including Friday's 121-110 loss at Sacramento. Karl-Anthony Towns did all he could in a losing cause scoring 39 points with 19 rebounds, but the team as a whole shot only 41.5 percent. Brooklyn has been one of the most improved teams in the NBA, and the Nets have won three of their last four although they did lose at Golden State on Saturday, which is not a surprise, but that followed two road wins at Phoenix and Denver. The Nets are 14-5 ATS their last 19 road games and 7-3 ATS their last 10 against the Western Conference. Minnesota is 8-17-1 ATS its last 26 games following an ATS loss dating to last season.
