Brooklyn at Detroit

Rebuilding Brooklyn heads out on the road for the opener. They are not a healthy team with Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (groin) a game-time decision, forward DeMarre Carroll is out due to an ankle injury, while Allen Crabbe (ankle) and guard Shabazz Napier (hamstring) will also miss the game. Detroit is home and introduces new coach Dwane Casey. Casey led the Toronto Raptors to a franchise-record 59 wins last season. The Pistons are on a 10-3 spread run, plus 34-14 ATS at home when the total is 210 to 219.5. Detroit took three of the four meetings last season from Brooklyn, and coach Casey is 140-107 ATS in the first half of the season, and this is a great spot for the fired-up and better home team.
