The Nets were unable to contain Luke Doncic, who banked in a tiebreaking, 25-foot 3-pointer with 26.3 seconds left and finished with 49 points for Dallas. Brooklyn wasted a good shooting effort as it hit nearly 50 percent from the field and 21 of 43 from beyond the arc. Charlotte is 1-1 after losing 111-99 to Detroit following a 116-110 victory in its season opener. Brooklyn is 4-9 ATS its past 13 games as an underdog of 0.5-4.5 points and the Hornets have covered five of seven following a loss dating to last season.
