Boston at Washington

The Boston Celtics took a mulligan this season. They dumped aging stars and big salaries, and acquired draft picks as they have a pair of first round picks in the upcoming draft as well as a lottery pick. The roster may be void of stars, but the depth is there and they have been more competitive than their record indicates. Boston is riding under the radar with a 12-2 ATS mark in their last 14 games when taking 7 points or more. Washington appeared heading upward in the NBA East last season with great expectations for this year. That just never materialized as this team has struggled around the .500 mark for most of the season. They just don't get excited vs. poor teams, and it shows up as a woeful 1-7 ATS mark in their last eight vs. a losing team. Take Boston in this one.
