Two teams heading in opposite directions. Boston is 9-3 SU/ATS since Rajon Rondo went down. It's not so much losing Rondo that did it, it was the fact that the Celtics had excellent depth coming into this season. They struggled in the first half partly because the added depth hadn't figure out their roles, with newcomers Courtney Lee and Jason Terry joined by Avery Bradley and Jeff Green, two guys who sat out most of last year with injuries. Green had 31 points the last game, a blowout win at Phoenix while Terry and Bradley chipped in 13 each. Boston is outstanding defensively, ninth in the NBA, while Portland has hit a wall losing seven in a row (1-6 ATS). The Blazers are 14-36-1 ATS in their last 51 after scoring 100 points or more in their previous game. Boston has won 13 of the last 14 meetings with the Trail Blazers, including six straight. Play the Celtics on the Money-Line.
