Boston at Oklahoma City

The Celtics it seems, like is blowing everyone out. They have gotten out of the gate at 23-3, and look every bit of a 70+ win team. The Sonics started 2-14, but have since been playing much better, as they are an even 6-6 over their last 12. Boston isn't just winning, they are covering a very high percentage of games. They are out of the gate at 18-7-1 ATS. There is an interesting footnote to this start. They are sailing past the teams they can be motivated to play against, as that record includes 13-2 vs teams .500 or higher. But, five of the seven ATS losses have come to teams that are sub-.500, where they are a pedestrian 5-5-1 ATS. This is a four-game in five-night stretch for the C's. After blowing out Sacramento last night, and with the two difficult games coming at Utah and LA Lakers, we might see that mediocre effort that has allowed these sub-.500 teams to cover. Seattle has played Phoenix to within 8 at home, Utah to within 2 and Detroit to within 4, so they are capable of staying close. We will back the Sonics to put forth a spirited effort, while the Celtics coast to the bigger games in this road trip that are upcoming.
