Boston at New York

New York won the last three meetings last season and two went into overtime at Boston. The Knicks covered the spread in all three as underdogs. The Knicks covered five of their last six overall as home underdogs and the Celtics finished 1-5 ATS as favorites. New York has reason to be optimistic this season as it won a first-round series for the first time since 2013, and took Miami to six games in the conference semifinals. Jalen Brunson averaged 24.1 points and arguably was the team's MVP as he also led with 6.2 assists. Julius Randle was tops in scoring with 25.1 points per game, and the Knicks added to their depth by signing Donte DiVencenzo as a free agent. The Celtics keep falling short of a title and they hope that the trade for Kristaps Porzingis will give them a more balanced offense, but he came at a high price as Marcus Smart is now gone. Boston is 3-7 ATS as a favorite of 0.5-4.5 points, but play the Knicks on the moneyline.
