Boston at Miami

The Boston Celtics had the Miami Heat down three games to two last year in the Eastern Conference Finals, but wilted in the final two games. Miami then road that comeback win all the way to an NBA Championship. The era of the "Big 3" is now over in Boston. Unfortunately for them, one of those pieces, Ray Allen now wears a Heat uniform, and will only make the Heat more deadly in their attempt to repeat as champions. LeBron James appears to be focused, as he said over the summer he wants to be the best player of all time. The Celtics have brought in Courtney Lee, Barbosa, and Terry to bolster the bench, but Garnett, and Pierce are both aging stars with diminishing skills and minutes. This game should offer a lot of intensity at start the season, as it has developed into a huge rivalry. The home team is 15-7 ATS in their last 22 meetings and with the Championship banner being raised tonight, it should propel LeBron and company to play with fire. Play this one on Miami.
