Boston at Miami

The Celtics come off a 104-59 beatdown of the Knicks. Everyone is enamored with Boston's big three and the offense they produce but what is going relatively unnoticed is the defense this team plays! They are 12-2 as much for their defense than for their offeense. They are holding opponents to just 88.9 points per game and 40.7% from the field. They have now held six opponents under 50% shoowing already. They are allowing ust 41.5 ppg in the first half. Miami, after a dismal start, has turned things around, winning four of their last five. They have also done it one defense. In those four wins, they held each opponent to 92 ppg or less. We expect a low-scoring defensive battle here. We like Miami's chances as well as they are playing. As an underdog this season and last, the Heat are 34-19 ATS. We'll back the Heat as a home dog and the first-half UNDER.
