The Boston Celtics dropped the opener to the Lakers, and Los Angeles will look to do what Boston did in 2008 - try to hold serve and take a 2-0 lead before the series heads to Boston for game three. The Lakers have really been tough at home in the playoffs as they have now won nine straight this postseason, and stand at 18-3 the last two years here. The last three years, the Lakers are an amazing 28-4 in home playoff games. The Lakers have now reached the century mark in 11 straight this postseason, and are really clicking. The difference this season for the Celtics is how they have fared vs. Western Conference teams. They were the best in 2008 when they won the championship, but this year over their last 22 vs. the West, they are but 5-16-1 ATS. The Lakers’ offense is the key and it is rolling now and they are 8-3 ATS off 100+, and 7-1 ATS off a win. I like Los Angeles here.
